Our closest international airports are to be found at Jönköping, Linköping (SAS) and Stockholm Skavsta Airport (Ryan Air). If you prefer to fly British Airways then you can fly to Stockholm Arlanda or to Gothenburg. There are some direct train connections from Stockholm Arlanda, from Gothenburg it takes approx 2-2,5 hours by car to Tranås.
Tranås is situated in an area called Småland, close to Lake Sommen. It is approximately 70 kilometers to Jönköping (south) and the same to Linköping (north). From Skavsta airport and from Stockholm there is a direct train connection that takes just over 2 hours from Skavsta and approx 2,5 hours from Stockholm.

Tranås liegt im nördlichen Småland in naturschönen Gebiet des Sommen. Es sind jeweils 70 km nach Jönköping im Süden oder Linköping im Norden, wo sich auch die nächst gelegenen Flugplätze befinden.
Der Direkt-Zug nach Stockholm braucht ca. 2,5 Stunden.
